The significant monument in Louny we can find the Baroque hospital built by Antonio della Porta in years 1695-1698, who built many castles in our surroundings – Libochovice, Milesov, Roudnice. This hospital had been built in the suburb of the town, on the bank of the Eger river, where the small chapel of St. Magdalena was situated and later pulled down. It was financed from the heritage of Mrs. Mecka from Dobromerice to help and offer any shelter to poor and ill ones.
