It is really lovely building on the bank of the river Eger, designed by architect Otakar Polak. It was built as the puppet theater and it is the first stone-built one in the Czech Republic, which is still in use. Since 1920 every Sunday you can admire the fairy-tale here shown by marionettes. Each spring we celebrate the festival of Raska Louny (Competition of puppet theater groups). It was built in the “romantic” style with a lovely small tower, each child must love it.
