The treasury of Patek

In the vault under the old hunting lodge there is the treasury chest hidden. In early days there was the nunnery – the premonstrate monastery. In the time of Thirty-years war the soldiers with stolen jewelry went through the village. They hid it there, in the safety of the local vault. The nuns added the gold monstrance and mother-hen with 12 chicks. The souls of death nuns still protects this treasury and sometimes you can hear very soft knocking and clucking as the mother-hen calls its chicks.
