The well with the golden hen

When you travel on the old merchant trail from Louny to Prague and you slowly climb up the slope to Bitina, you get to the village Panensky Tynec, then you go slowly down the hill and you reach the valley with the brook. There you see the church of St. Blasius. Despite the fact the church is situated outside the village, the treasury lovers are advised to stop here for a moment! Directly from the basement of the altar runs the magic water. It is curative spring and people with ill vocal cords could be healed…. But it is not only miracle here! The legend says there are buried secret underground corridors full of treasuries. They have also it´s own watchman – the golden mother-hen with 12 chicks.
